Venice, November 2019.
After an extraordinary tide that put the Venice on its knee, second only to the flooding in 1966, Venetians gather together in the church during the yearly celebrations for the “Madonna della Salute”. This event was established in memory of the terrible plague that hit Venice in 1630-31. Left with no visitors and the economy severely damaged, it is for the Venetians a moment of hope and courage.
